Half day fishing packages from the beach include all fishing tackle

One of the premier fishing spots on Flinders Island, North East River offers the chance to catch and release large quantities of Australian Salmon, Large Dusky Flathead, Flounder, Prawns, Crayfish and Abalone.

Camping packages to North East River feature sheltered camping sites with all meals, included, tea and coffee facilities will be provided, camping will be in tents and you meals will be prepared by an excellent camp chef.

Fishing packages to North east River include all fishing tackle ( rod and reels, bait and tackle, Snorkel and Fins) transport from your accommodation or airport on your arrival, picnic lunches or (BBQ for extra charge), morning or afternoon tea, eskies and ice for drinks and storing fish that you would like cleaned and packaged for your trip home expert tutoring in catching fish.

These packages offer the chance to set a craypot in season (licence required, craypots will be supplied and licences can be purchased for clients prior to their arrival) as well as snorkelling for Green and Black lip abalone (licence required). Both crayfish an abalone offer the chance to try some of the chef's favourite dishes.

One of the favourite pastimes of an evening at North East River over the summer months is to dip a feed of prawns after dark for a supper that is very hard to beat.

We prefer to look after our fishery and promote catch and release fishing, digital photo's taken of your fishing experience burned to CD. We also offer DVD's of your fishing experience.

Fishing can be arranged aboard Charter Boats for those people that would prefer the chance of catching fish from one of the charter boats operating around Flinders Island.
